Prerequisite: Beginners workshop or previous wet felting experience
This workshop will take students to the next level of wet felting. The focus will be on the wet felting with the addition of learning surface design, including adding other fibers, fabrics and materials to embellish your final project. Nuno felt is an extremely versatile created fabric. It can be made in many weights to accommodate many different uses and much lighter in weight than traditional all-wool felt accounting for its wonderful movement and drape.
For the workshop, three dimensional forms and working with resists will be included, and the making of vessels, bags, wearables and decorative art will be covered. Tools will be included and material lists will be sent out once you have signed up.
The class will take a lunch break–please bring something to eat.
The cost of the class is $90. Participants need to pay the total workshop fee to secure their place in class. For more information or to sign up, contact Jae Cremin at email@example.com
