About The Artist
I am a painter and a scientist with degrees in both. I have been living on 180 ac of forested land in the upper upper Rendezvous for 26 years, and have concentrated my interest on natural history. This is reflected in my paintings which have elements of abstraction and realism, with a heavy interest in birds. I am concerned with species loss, habitat loss, a lack of understanding in the general public about the importance of what we are standing on, our earth, and of course climate change.
I believe that through art people can be reached and be touched by these issues.
