Click here for an application. There is a wonderful opportunity to be had, just around the corner. You have an ability as an Okanogan County high school student to join the Arts Ambassador Program. The Arts Ambassador Program came to life just thanks to Methow Arts’ former intern, Claire Waichler. This year, the program is back, and headed up by current intern, Mia Stratman.

In the role of Arts Ambassador, you will have ample opportunity to spread your love of art with your community. You will also have the pleasure of connecting with other schools in the county as well. Our goal here at Methow Arts is to establish a lasting alliance between the Okanogan County high schools. We hope to forge this alliance with a mutual appreciation, and interest in art involvement around the community.

Aside from the obvious advantages, (fame, glory, etc.) there are a few perks to involvement. Student Art Ambassador status will give you free admission to all Methow Arts Events. We have a stipend, and travel fund available to each student for the occasions when you need to connect with fellow ambassadors. The piece de resistance being that you will make connections with other professionals. Which if I might so say so myself, is priceless.

To get yourself on the Arts Ambassador path all you need to do is get in touch with us. There are no participation fees at all, but you will need your parent’s permission. Who are we looking for, you might ask. Any Okanogan County high school Junior or Senior that has experience or interest in the arts can feel free to apply!

Being an Arts Ambassador would mean being a part of something new, and innovative. You’ll have such pleasant opportunities being around artists, such as yourself. We would love to have you as a part of our team!
