Chamber Music 101

Sat, June 10, 1pm, 2017

SerendipityQuartetThe Methow Valley Chamber Music Festival invites you to “Chamber Music 101” on Saturday, June 10, at 1 PM at the new Plaza @ TwispWorks.  The Serendipity String Quartet from Seattle will perform fun and familiar classical works, while Artistic Director Kevin Krentz discusses the origins and evolution of chamber music in his humorous and irreverent style.  The Serendipity Quartet strives to share its love of classical music by bringing professional-quality performances to communities at low to zero cost. It was born in 2015, when two Seattle Philharmonic Orchestra violinists “serendipitously” reunited after discovering they had attended the same elementary school.

The event is free and open to the public.  Visit the festival’s website at www.methowmusicfestival.org for more information.
