The Economic Alliance’s Small Business Resource & Technology Center will be offering the follow FREE workshops scheduled for November. Limited in-person spots are available, and the workshops will be streamed via Zoom. After the workshop, individual appointments can be made to walk through each step of the process. Etsy is a wildly popular platform that is a great option for folks that may be looking to add an online channel to a current business, or, for a small outfit that’s not quite ready for a physical store front.

November 23rd: Facebook for your Business

Do you have a personal Facebook page? Have you thought about or started a Business page on Facebook – and you’re not sure what to do now? This workshop will cover everything from advice on creating your brand, how to make a visually appealing page, how to create engaging content, Facebook Marketing intro, and Ads on Facebook.

November 30th: Social Media 101

Social Media is a HUGE and constantly changing space, some platforms are more popular with certain age groups than others, and it can easily get overwhelming. This workshop will cover some useful statistics, determining who your customer is – and which social media platforms could be the best for your business. We will also review types of posts, tools for time management, the anatomy of a post, the importance of engagement, and how to add value rather than seeming spammy.
