along with Spirit of Wildfire evening events where Methow Valley residents will share experiences of the Carlton Complex Wildfire through stories, art and music.The events are hosted by the Chumstick Coalition at Goose Ridge Estate Winery

The Art of Wildfire represents artist’s response to the catastrophic wildfires in the Methow Valley during the summer of 2014. Artist’s present narratives that speak to the power of wildfire and its after-effects on both nature and the communities they live in. These works tell human stories about navigating chaos, mourning loss, and cultivating personal and community resilience. Each piece is, in its own way, a stepping stone to renewal.
