Methow Arts – Art Scholarship for Graduating Senior

METHOW ARTS: $500 ART SCHOLARSHIP FOR GRADUATING SENIOR
This opportunity is for graduating high school seniors of Okanogan County School Districts. One $500 scholarship will be awarded to a Methow Valley School District student and one $500 scholarship will be awarded to a student outside of the Methow Valley in one of the following school districts in which Methow Arts works: Okanogan, Omak, Brewster or Pateros. Eligible student applicants should be planning to pursue a degree in art, an arts-related field* or utilize the arts in their prospective degree in college. Applicants should be able to list their accomplishments/ involvement in the arts during their high school years. Preference will be given to applicants who pursue an arts-related field of study.
*Arts/arts related fields include any type of art: communications, English, music, theatre, dance, architecture, film, fine arts, journalism, multimedia, photography, graphic design, and visual arts.
Deadline: May 15, 2022. Applicants will be notified by May 31.
Criteria: High school senior in one of the following districts in which Methow Arts works: Okanogan, Omak, Pateros, Brewster or Methow Valley. High school senior on track to graduate in June 2022, who intends to utilize an art form* in their prospective degree in college.
Note: Family of Methow Arts’ board or staff are ineligible to apply for this opportunity.
