Methow Arts Announces its Summer Concert Series

Save the Date! SAT, JUNE 26, 6pm-8pm. In place of Arts Festival, we present a summer concert series. The first is coming right up! In celebration of our community we present a FREE Boat-in Concert at Patterson Lake with Bitterroot Beets! Enjoy the concert from the lake in your boat or water vessel! This boat-in concert is designed to be viewed from the lake only. The audience will enjoy the show from their boats, kayaks, paddle boards or other vessels. The shore will be designated for performers and Sun Mountain’s Patterson Lake Cabin guests only. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, this is a safe way for us to offer events amidst the strict guidelines in WA State. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Stay tuned for more summer concert offerings on July 10 and August 14th. As restrictions lift we are shifting our venues to serve our community the best way possible.

The audience are asked to continue to practice all physical distancing and face covering guidelines that are in place. Know your limit and wear a life jacket/PFD. Methow Arts thanks you for your cooperation!

A Boat-In Concert at Patterson Lake (Entry at Patterson Lake Public Access)

Opening the series on Saturday, June 26th is Methow Valley-Grown band, Bitterroot Beets. A fun loving party band from the Methow Valley, the Bitterroot Beets is a funky, eclectic dance band that’s sure to get the party started. These four magnetic musicians love to entertain and promise to make your experience a memorable one.

This concert is offered to our community free of charge as a celebration of reopening and summer Solstice!

At Patterson Lake. Access at main public boat launch only (Discover Pass required for parking). Load in times from 5-6pm or earlier.Patterson Lake Cabins entry is for guests only. INFO: BYO food and drink. SAFETY: Please social-distance. Wear a lifejacket/PFD and know your water limits. Human paddlecrafts highly encouraged, or 5MPH limit and no wake zone only, please. NOTE: Paddling is done entirely at your own risk! We take no responsibility for your safety on the water. If in doubt, stay home.


SAT, JULY 10TH: THE GOTHARD SISTERS 

At the John Doran Ranch, 20088 Hwy 20, Twisp, WA.

The Gothard Sisters are a dynamic musical group of three sisters who play contemporary Celtic folk music. Through over 10 years of performing, touring and writing music together, the optimistic style of their music and performances continue to resonate with their fans, building a loyal international following.

The Gothard Sisters have performed in venues across the United States, including a concert at the Kennedy Center’s Millennium stage in Washington DC, performances with Disney Cruise line in Europe, and a 20-city concert tour of Japan in 2019.
