What do Glacierdom and Riverdom have in common? The Leprechauns know! Get a new look at a classic story when the Missoula Children’s Theatre and more than 50 local students present “The Princess and the Pea,” complete with a cast of princesses, the Pea, King and Queen Size of Riverdom, Storm King and Snow Queen of Glacierdom, the Prince, the mischievous Jack Frost, the citizens of Riverdom and Glacierdom, the Dust Bunnies, and some meddling leprechauns.

Auditions will be held for “The Princess and the Pea” on Mon, Nov 7, from 12:40-2:40pm, at the Methow Valley Elementary School Cub Gym. Some of the cast members will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately following the audition. All students, grades 1-12 are encouraged to audition. No advance preparation is necessary.  Assistant Directors will also be cast to assist with the technical aspects of the production.

The Missoula Children’s Theatre touring productions are complete with costumes, scenery, props and makeup. MCT Tour Actor/Directors will conduct rehearsals at MVE throughout the week from 12:40-5:10pm each day. Not all actors will need to rehearse every day.

Missoula Children’s Theatre is sponsored by the Chewuch Inn & Cabins, Winthrop Kiwanis, the Public School Funding Alliance, the Methow Valley Fund, and ArtsWA.
