July 22, 12-4 pm
Monotype with an Etching Press $50
Learn to use a little etching press. Combine drawing, painting, collage and whatever else you can think of to create mixed media monotypes. All tools and some papers are provided. We will use water-soluble, non- toxic inks.
5-12 students. Ages 13 – adult.

July 29, 12-4 pm
Gelatin Prints by Hand $50
We will use plates made of unflavored gelatin and water. Create gorgeous, exciting layered prints with acrylic paints. We will also have two Gelli plates to use and compare effects. will love this method. Beautiful on lightweight Asian papers too.
5-12 students. Ages 13 – adult.

August 5, 12-4 pm
Block Printing Cards by Hand $50
Bring your own ideas or look in the garden for motifs that will fit a 3×4- inch block – a great size to print your own handmade cards. We will carve plates of Softkut with the same tools used for linoleum block prints. Two Softkut
blocks (double-sided) and 5 cards w/envelopes provided.
5-12 students. Ages 13 – adult.

August 5, 10-11:30 am $6
Handmade Paper with Flower Seeds
We’ll make our own paper with recycled paper and water in a blender, add
native flower seeds, and then pour the slurry into plant- and animal-shaped
molds.
7-20 students. Ages 6-12.

All classes will be held at Ohme Gardens, 3327 Ohme Rd, Wenatchee
Near the junction of US 2 and 97A

Free Ohme Gardens admission for attending classes. Discount on class fee for multiple classes.
