Methow Valley Authors Library Grand Opening Event

Join Methow Press for the Grand Opening of the Methow Valley Authors Library on Sunday, April 14, from 11 AM- 4 PM at Casia Lodge.

In this unprecedented celebration of the Methow Valley literary scene, over 30 local writers will be on hand to mark the opening of the Methow Valley Authors Library, a collection of books and journals from every author who has ever lived in, worked in, or wrote about the valley. The program of events includes book signings plus author readings every 20 minutes.

The event is also a fundraiser for sponsors Methow Arts and The Confluence, with a suggested donation of $10 per adult.

Beverage service will be available in the Casia Pub throughout the day. Boxed meals, designed by chef Jason Wilson, will be available for purchase in advance.

Mingle with authors, buy their books, and get them signed in Casia’s Cascade Room. Every twenty minutes, visit the fireside in the Lodge’s great room for short readings by:

Other titles have been donated by The Shafer Museum, and hundreds of other titles will be added over the coming year.

Organized by Greg Wright, Methow Press.
