CERFCERF (Craft Emergency Relief Fund) has reached out to us with an offer of support for artists. There a number of resources available to artists in times of emergency in the arts sector. Most of the websites below support artists nationally and more information can be found on their websites. Don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you need assistance navigating this information.

Databases of Arts Sector Emergency and Financial Resources

CERF+ (Craft Emergency Relief Fund + Artists’ Emergency Resources)

NYFASource, based at The New York Foundation for the Arts

NYFASource is the most comprehensive national listing of emergency resources for artists. The database is also a source for information about grants, awards, and programs for all artists, regardless of medium.

The Actors’ Fund

The Actors Fund focuses primarily on resources that are relevant to the entertainment industry (which encompasses many disciplines including acting, literary arts, and visual arts), however their emergency listings are even more broad-based.

Artist Trust
The Artist Trust listing of resources for artists including Emergency Preparedness & Assistance includes some resources you may not find elsewhere.

Women Arts Directory of Emergency Funds
Contains some smaller, regional funds that are not in the other listings.
