botanical drawing pepperA two – day Botanical drawing and painting workshop at the historic Methow Valley Inn in Twisp, WA. Paint the produce of summer on the Eastern side of the North Cascade Mountains!

Students will learn washes and dry-brush techniques of classic watercolor to paint realistic fruit or veggies.Beginners are welcomed and encouraged. Students with experience will take on new and challenging subjects.

Kathleen McKeehan is a Freelance illustrator and instructor of botanical drawing and watercolor teaching from her home studio in Indianola, WA and at venues such Gage Academy of the Arts in Seattle, WA and The Center for Urban Horticulture in Seattle, WA.

Classes will take place June 27 & 28th from 9:30 – 5:30 each day.

2 day workshop $225 without lodging;

include 2 nights of lodging at the Inn with continental breakfast ($315)
